The Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering (CEWRE), a semi-autonomous institution of higher learning governed by the Higher Education Commission and the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Education, was created by the Pakistani government in 1976. The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, which confers degrees on Center alumni, is academically associated with the Center. In its four degree programs, our Center offers M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of topics through coursework or research theses. Graduates from the center are in great demand and work for national and international organizations in the water sector..
