It is a multi-campus university with campuses spread across several major cities in the Pakistani province of Punjab. Township, Lahore, is home to its main campus. It was founded in 2002 and provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs in a range of academic fields, including the humanities and sciences. There are about 13,000 students enrolled at the university. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized it as one of Pakistan's best universities in 2010.
