province of Punjab. M A Raoof is the company's original owner. Under the
auspices of the IBADAT Educational Trust, it was established at the collegiate
level in 1999 and was given full degree awarding status in 2002. It is one
of Pakistan's biggest private universities. Degrees are granted in the social
sciences, the arts, engineering, and medicine. The Higher Education Commission
(HEC) and other government regulatory agencies in Pakistan have approved all
programs. It has received accreditation from the Pakistan Bar Council, Pakistan
Medical and Dental Council, Pakistan Nursing Council, and Pakistan Pharmacy
